Through MouseBelt's Blockchain University Program, we are supporting students in their efforts to promote blockchain at their schools. In addition to the opportunities for cross-campus collaboration and guidance we offer, we are also able to provide the funding necessary to organize workshops, meetings, and events. We have sponsored a hackathon, an exposition and most recently were honored to contribute to the success of the second annual CU Blockchain Summit Oct 13th at Colorado University Boulder campus.
Representatives from CU Blockchain had this to say about the event:
"The Fall 2018 CU Blockchain Summit was the second ever summit hosted by CU Blockchain and it was a great success! Our team was so excited to host panels on blockchain topics including sustainability & social impact, business operations, regulation, and getting involved in the ecosystem. Our panelists included industry leaders from companies such as ShapeShift, ConsenSys, Solana, Blockchain for Sustainable Development, Opolis, and members of the Colorado State Government Blockchain Council. We also held a keynote event on blockchain and privacy featuring Mary Moore-Simmons from ZCash. We met a bunch of enthusiastic students and community members from all different backgrounds, and it was great to see the Colorado Blockchain community come together to learn, network, and grow.
We want to give a huge thank you to all of our sponsors: MouseBelt, Solana, ConsenSys, Crush Crypto, and Global Blockchain Summit, without them the event would’ve never been possible! We’d also like to thank our partners CU College of Engineering, Leeds School of Business, and StickerGiant for helping with event logistics.
We can’t wait to host our next summit and hope to make it even bigger and better, so stay tuned!"
