It was a great week for blockchain in Seoul with Beyond Blocks and The Blockchain Partners Summit in town. University Outreach Director Ashlie Meredith and Community Relations Manager Mariya Leshchenko attended back-to-back conferences and numerous social events to promote MouseBelt accelerator and No Rest Labs development services. They also organized MouseBelt's first ever event. Here are their highlights from the week:

"The fun started with a networking event on Friday Jun 13 hosted by the PayX Seoul Blockchain Meetup at the Gangnam Tourist Information Center. The organizers were kind enough to offer us a slot to present our companies. Mariya took the stage with only seconds to prepare and did a great job! Saturday we attended the launch party for Wanchain Main Net 2.0 - Ethereum Cross-chain. Our sister company NueValue Capital was a major investor in their ICO. Sunday we were lucky enough to be invited to an investor dinner hosted by Game Protocol and Tap Coin. We made lots of contacts and got to meet Jinyoung Choi, the former mayor of Nam-won City.

The event we hosted Monday at the Bitcoin Center Korea was a "consultation and investor night" paired with lots of delicious dumplings and drinks! Our CTO Galen Danziger announced our open-source tools and provided one-on-one virtual technical consults. Crypto-lawyer Adam Juratovac from Juratovac Law shared his insights on the current ICO ecosystem and answered questions about new regulations. SidneyC, a life coach who specializes in helping business professionals, did a presentation on pathways and barriers to success. Tuesday and Wednesday was the Beyond Blocks conference at the Shilla Hotel. Lots of networking was done at the conference but even more networking happened at the two events we attended Tuesday night: iCapital's blockchain party and a VIP launch party we were personally invited to by the Seoul based blockchain company Fantom. Wednesday the whole MouseBelt team surprised us and showed up in Seoul so we could finally meet each other, have important meetings, and bond over Korean BBQ.

Saturday and Sunday was the Blockchain Partners Summit. We met lots of interesting companies looking for funding and encouraged them to apply to our accelerator. We also helped the Bitcoin Center host one of their weekly Saturday meetups. Formosa presented on western perspectives in the blockchain industry and afterwards we all went to the center's post blockchain week social event at Burn Cigar Lounge.

That's about ten days of non-stop blockchain and boy are we tired! But we love this industry and are so excited for all the connections we've made. We hope to see those people hiring No Rest Labs for development support and applying to MouseBelt's accelerator."

Look out for our team at many more conferences to come! To learn more about what we do please visit the MouseBelt website.
